The Emirates Equestrian Centre (EEC) is the only fully approved British Horse Society riding and training centre in the Middle East and our qualified staff cater for all levels of riding from novice to advanced. The main disciplines here are show jumping, dressage and now eventing, which has become more popular in the UAE.
The EEC stables is temporarily located next to Bab al Shams Hotel behind the Endurance Village. We have around 165 horses, and our extensive facilities span over 80? acres, these include air-conditioned stabling for the horses, 6 arenas, including an international and warm-up arena (both laid down with Martin Collins Poly Track) plus two covered arenas, a cross-country course with 21 fences, , two lunging rings, two walkers, and the vast desert for trail riding and the Al Faris Restaurant overlooking the cross country field. The Centre also has changing rooms and showers.
In total Emirates Equestrian Centre hosted thirty-two events in the 2007-08 season and with 200-plus pupils per week taking tuition and with all the livery and school horses/ponies to care for it has been a very busy season. The centre’s Manager, Paul McAuley would like to take this opportunity to thank patrons and staff for a very successful season.
