Al Redha, true to form, showed she had both style and flair to claim both the Elementary class on Roma and the Combined class on Tartan Special.
Dressage to Music classes are marked not only on the horse and rider’s ability, but also on the artistic impression, composition of the test and choice of suitable music.
With the music ranging from the classical, to Irish Gigs and one or two popular renditions of the theme tune to Pirates of the Caribbean, it all made for a very entertaining evening.
Elahi Ramzani on Tao Babalao from the Emirates Equestrian Centre took home the prize for the Novice class.
Paul McAuley, the Manager at Emirates Equestrian Centre said:“The Dressage to Music competition is an integral part of the upcoming National Dressage Championships at the end of March.
“This show proved to be a great opportunity for competitors to illustrate all the hard work that goes into putting together a choreographed musical test.
