In the Open Senior class, the Emirates Equestrian Centre claimed both first and second place, with Marit Lindbom on Mer Mer and Carolyn Johnson on Gracious Me.
Christine Khairallah took the first prize in the Senior Novice class, riding Supercilious. After a slightly tense dressage test, the pair soon relaxed and breezed through the showjumping and cross country classes.
Zabeel Stables’ Jo McGowan on Super Delux scooped up second place, with Shreya Radia on Pikarda from Emirates Equestrian Centre taking third place.
The Junior Novice class was won by Amy McAuley on Quantum Star. This combination only recently got together when Quantum Start arrived in the UAE in late November.
Consistency in the dressage, coupled with steady rounds in both the show jumping and cross country classes, helped them take first place.
Coming in second was Paige Morris on Derryboye Daniel from the Sharjah Equestrian Centre, with Abdulaziz Ahli on Dabsy from Desert Equestrian Club following in third.
