The premier event of the evening was the Medium Class event.

This was won convincingly by Tracy Gill riding the classy mare Roma, a consistent pair, scoring a well earned 70.7%.

Gill said: “I’m so impressed with Roma, she is really enjoying herself in the competitions now which shows in her superb work ethic.

“She seems to be thriving on the challenge of the higher class and we may even consider introducing her to advanced-medium before the end of the season if she keeps improving”.

Christopher Cyra came second on the big gelding Woody Allen followed closely by Diane Crabtree on Calosha finishing third.

The Elementary Class was won with a score of 69.1% by Christel Langlois on her dependable Arabian chestnut R S Kahraman.

In second place was Lesley Jones on her continually-improving mare Kengarth Danielle.

Tracy Gill, again riding Roma, placed third.

The novice class saw the highest score of the evening with 72.8%, which was awarded to Karen Stewart riding her new recruit Roan Van De Lievehereboom.

Shakira Muller aboard Ballinteskin Rocky rode easily into second place with 70% and Michelle Woolmer on Utopia finished third with 68%.

Celeste Pretorius won the Prelim Senior Class on the talented all-rounder Quantum Noire with 63.6%, second and third place following very closely by Michelle Woolmer aboard Cartier VZ and Utopia respectively.

First place in the Prelim Junior Class was awarded to Samantha Kettle on her handsome Arabian stallion Al Mijlas.

Amy Barrack rode a very relaxed test on Chloe Dazzler to finish second, and Holly Jones came third on Tsunami Emerald.
