Zabeel Riding Barn sponsors national affiliated show jumping

Riders came from all over the UAE to compete their horses. The various levels ranged from the introductory D level, with jumps measuring 95 centimetres to the more advanced A2 level, with jumps measuring 130 centimetres.

Sheikh Shakboot Bin Nayahan Al Nahayan was the big name of the first day riding his stunning german mare Vitesse Greenfield. The duo won the A2 class with the best time.

Second place was taken by David Frederic and his chestnut gelding Olympic du Talus, with third being awarded to Majid Sultan Al Awani and his bay mare Katarina de Mai.

The B2 class was won by Shirin Horr on her mare U-Ottie. Second was Ali Abdulla al Kumaithi and his bay gelding Salsabeel, and third place went to Mickael Libassu Jirmai aboard his mare Promise 8.

The C2 class, an accumulator with a joker fence, was deservedly won by Rashed Humaid Yousif Al Nuaimi on his bay gelding Ged Conti. Second place was taken by Ali Abdalla Al Khalim and his French gelding Genial. Third place was won by Mohammad Al Kabi.

The second day saw Sheikh Shakboot Bin Nayahan Al Nahayan won the A2 class with an unbeatable time once again, this time aboard the Tinkabell. Mohammed Karim came second and third place went to Mohammed Abdulla Al Kumaithi and his horse Al Mutawakel.

The B1 class was won by Salim Ahmed Al Suwaidi and his mare Natalie, with by Shirin Mohammed Horr riding U-Ottie and Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum on Dubai’s Pride taking second and third respectively.

The B2 Class was proudly won by Rashed Mohd Al Rumaithi and the horse Icard de Bois, followed by Ali Abdulla al Kumaithi on Wilma in second place, and Shirin Horr and U-Ottie in third.

The C1 class was won by Eman Al Muhairi and Mozart de Malon. Second place went to Sultan Al Awani and Seekatze III, with third place going to Mohammed Ibrahim Al Nakhi.

The C2 class was won by Sara Abdul-Aziz Taryam and Her horse Tofino du Aly’s. Second went to Ali Abdulla Al Khadim and Genial. Third place went to Laura Reader and Shelley.

The next show jumping competition to take place will be the 2010 Dubai Show Jumping Championships CSI-W*** Dubai (Arab League), a three-day action packed event starting on Thursday January 10th early next year.
