3/16/2010

Competitors demonstrated a broad base of training as they were tested across various courses with tight turns, double and triple combinations and walls.

Classes ranged from 95cm fences up to the more outstanding and challenging courses of 140+cm fences.

“Show Jumping is a real spectator sport - and riders need plenty of speed and agility in equal amounts to jump clear under the pressure of time” said Paul McAuley, Manager EEC.

The first class of the Friday was open ABC class that was a course of fences up to 120cm jumped against the clock.

The winning rosette deservedly went to Mohammed Abdulla Al Kumaiti riding Al Mutawakel from Ajman Equestrian club. Mohammed rode a clear round in the time of 52.31sec.
