Emirates Equestrian Centre has excellent facilities for all equestrian needs

  Stabling

There is stabling for up to 160 horses and ponies in 5 separate yards. All boxes are in the American barn system and are fully air conditioned. Each yard has a feed and tack room with storage as well as rubber floor wash areas for the horses. There is an onsite forge for the Blacksmith and a vet’s area with rubber trot-up path and a treatment stable.

There are 17 small turnout paddocks all with shade that can be used for livery horses as well as riding school.

There are two walkers that can exercise 10 and 6 horses respectively at a time and the larger of the two is covered and has fans.
 

  Riding

The International arena is 85x110m and has a Judges’ box over looking it with a full sound system. Covered seating with tables and chairs lines the side of the arena. Adjacent to the International and connected via a rubber pathway is the warm up which is 50x70m. Both surfaces are Martin Collins Poly Track.

These arenas have jumps and dressage areas set up inside throughout the year for our liveries to use as well as for riding school lessons. Two full sets of show jumps including fillers are also available for competitions.

We have two uncovered 20x40m arenas with letters and two covered arenas around 25x45m. All arenas are floodlit.

A full Cross Country course including banks, ditches and water fence is also available for lessons and hire.

There are also two lungeing arenas both with the Martin Collins Poly Track surface, one of which is covered.

Hacking out around the Desert is literally a step away and it is possible to see some of the UAE’s resident animals including Gazelle, Desert Foxes and Lizards whilst out.

The Centre has an excellent on site Café – Al Faris that is run by Bab Al Shams Hotel and both toilets and showers are available.
